Police are awaiting further forensic results before drawing a conclusion as to the circumstances surrounding the death of a 46-year-old Dunedin man at his home on Friday night.
The man, who had an existing medical condition, was earlier involved in altercation with a man at a bar in the central city.
Inquiries are continuing into the man's death and police are yet to ascertain whether or not there is a connection between it and the incident in the bar.
Around a dozen police staff worked on the case over the weekend, but the number has now been scaled back.
