Armed police swooped on a property south of Dunedin early
this morning after reports of an assault on a man and
firearms at the address.
Police responded to the incident at Titri, near Waihola,
about 3.45am.
Sergeant Dave Scott said two men were taken into police
custody but no arrests had yet been made.
No one else was being sought in connection with the assault.
Police were still searching the area for firearms.
