A rogue dog, which was seen chasing and attacking sheep at a
North Rd, Dunedin, property last night, has been seized by
animal control rangers and impounded.
Police said they were called about 7.45pm and had spoken to
the owner of a bull mastiff dog, which allegedly killed two
sheep at the property.
Dunedin City Council animal control officers seized the dog,
which was being held at the pound while the incident was
investigated, police said.
