Otago Museum organisers are urging more people to register for tomorrow's big quiz at the museum cafe.

Museum marketing co-ordinator Juliet Pierce said some teams had already advised they were participating in "The Ultimate ODT Quiz" but there was scope for up to 40 teams, each of up to six, to take part.

The 7pm quiz is linked to Focal Point, a popular exhibition of historic ODT photographs spanning the newspaper's first 150 years. The show runs until June 17.

Four of the quiz contest's seven rounds would focus on the free Focal Point show itself, and Otago in general. The other three rounds would include questions from the ODT's daily quizzes, Ms Pierce said.

The quiz invited participants to "glance back into the history of the region" but would be a fun social night with friends and most questions would not be "hugely difficult".

Book through the museum information desk (phone 474-7474).
