The magnificent men and their flying machines are heading for
Dunedin.
Tickets for Nitro Circus Live go on sale tomorrow.
The high-octane extravaganza will feature some the world's
premier FMX riders, including Americans Erik Roner, Special
Greg, Streetbike Tommy, Gregg Godfrey and Jeremy Rawle and
13-time X Games medallist Nate Adams, who is the only rider
performing consistent double back flips.
They will be joined by Australians Cam Sinclair, Blake
Williams, Jarryd McNeil, Josh Sheehan, Steve Mini and Clinton
Moore.
Some of the best BMX riders in the world will also feature,
including Andy Buckworth and James Foster.
The fun will also include some of the most gravity-defying
tricks in FMX and BMX on the multimillion-dollar set using a
range of crazy contraptions, including children's trikes,
snow skis, Barbie cars, rubbish bins and chilly bins.
A highlight of the spectacular stunt riding includes the
"Nitro Bomb", which involves 18 riders upside-down at the
same time.
"We are so excited about bringing Nitro Circus Live back to
New Zealand for the second time," Global Action Sports
managing director Michael Porra said.
"Our 2011 New Zealand tour still stands out as the biggest
and craziest tour we have ever done. The Kiwi fans are the
most passionate fans you will ever come across, and we're so
stoked to be coming back."
The Nitro Circus crew has also been busy filming a 3D movie,
which will be released in New Zealand in November.
Nitro Circus Live will be on at Forsyth Barr Stadium on
January 25.
