Hopeful iD Dunedin Fashion Show models are shown how to
audition, during the first casting at the Dunedin Railway
Station yesterday.
About 50 models took part in the casting, during which they
were measured and photographed before being asked to walk the
station platform in front of judges. iD event manager
Victoria Muir said about 50 models were needed for the show.
The first casting was held "nice and early" to allow time for
subsequent auditions closer to the March event if needed, she
said. Models needed to have a strong, confident walk for iD,
as they had to work the 120m runway multiple times during the
show, Mrs Muir said. iD Dunedin Fashion Week will run from
March 10-17 next year.
