Designers for the 2013 iD Dunedin Fashion Show have been
confirmed, and ticket sales begin tomorrow.
Organisers promise to show a fresh crop of New Zealand
fashion designers during the week-long iD event from March
10-17.
Young Dunedin label Moodie Tuesday, started in 2011, has been
selected to display a collection for the first time, as has
New Zealand designer Storm.
Otago Polytechnic fashion graduates Rachel Webb and Elise
Barnes will show their label Undone, which they also
established last year, for the second time at iD.
Longstanding iD favourites confirmed to show included Nom*D,
Mild Red, Carlson, Company of Strangers, Charmaine Reveley,
Dada and Tamsin Cooper.
Fashion week committee chairwoman Susie Staley said the 14th
annual event would give the public a chance to see the latest
New Zealand trends alongside international collections.
"The line-up is fresh, inspiring and is going to amaze
audiences once again," she said.
In total, 15 New Zealand labels had been selected to show
their winter 2013 garments.
Guest designers would be revealed closer to the event, as
well participating Dunedin fashion graduates.
