The event tested the ingenuity and problem-solving skills of about 250 pupils from Dunedin schools.
Event organiser Helen Trevethan said it was exciting seeing teams working together and having fun.
The Columba College first team won the junior (years 5 and 6) competition. Balmacewen Intermediate won the senior (years 7-10) competition.
