Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly
pedestrian was struck by a car in central Dunedin yesterday
morning.
At 10.15am, a silver Nissan Maxima car hit a 72-year-old
pedestrian who was crossing upper Stuart St, between the
Octagon and Moray Pl.
Constable Peter Bevin said the male pedestrian suffered a
laceration to his head and cuts to his body.
He was taken to Dunedin Hospital by St John ambulance.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen the
accident.
