A teenager is wanted by police for his alleged involvement in
two early-morning assaults in central Dunedin yesterday.
The first incident came after an altercation between two
groups near Moray Pl just after 3am, Acting Senior Sergeant
Paul McLaughlan said.
A male is alleged to have punched another young male in the
head, before leaving the scene with another youth.
The offender was described as a teenage Maori around 182cm
tall, and wearing a basketball top.
The same youth later became involved in an altercation at the
Octagon taxi stand at 4.43pm.
Sgt McLaughlan said in the second incident the youth was
alleged to have punched and kicked the male victim, before
leaving.
