Investigations are continuing into the death of a 61-year-old
Mosgiel man at the weekend.
John Ross McLean, known as Ross McLean, was found dead beside
his overturned 4WD vehicle near a farm track on a Taieri
property on Sunday.
He had been contracted to spray around pylons in the area on
Saturday, and when he did not return home his family
contacted police.
A search and rescue operation was launched on Sunday morning
and Mr McLean's body was found about 3.30pm.
Police are investigating the incident on behalf of the
coroner. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
is conducting its own investigation.
