Twenty children, aged from 3 to 8, took part in the school.
''They get a 'driving licence' and learn about all the different road signs, and then we let them drive around the track in Peugeot pedal cars,'' driving school co-ordinator Kathy Cunningham, of Auckland, said.
''It's never too young to learn about road safety, although, when we're talking to the kids, we're really talking to mum and dad.''
