Armed police swooped on a property south of the Dunedin
International Airport, and arrested a man who had earlier
made threats to Mosgiel business owners.
Actg Snr Sgt Baker said the armed police were due to the man
allegedly threating to kill two business men.
No firearms were found at the property.
Armed police were spotted by an Otago Daily Times
reader on Centre Rd at about 9.15pm last night where the
alleged offender was taken into custody.
A police search recovered 20 cannabis plants at the address.
The man has been charged with two counts of threatening to do
gross bodily harm, and one of cultivating cannabis.
