Gang Show 2013 participants display their singing and
acting skills during the first weekend rehearsal at the Wairoa
Scout Camp on Saturday.
About 80 Scouts, Guides and leaders, aged between 10 and 26,
took part in the show.
Co-producer Noel Walker said the weekend gave participants a
chance to learn the music and to be cast into one of the
hundreds of parts.
They would then rehearse every Sunday and at one more weekend
camp. The theme of the show was being kept top secret but Mr
Walker said it would be ''very exciting and very topical''.
The show will be held at the Mayfair Theatre from July 16
until July 20.
