A man who has dementia was located by police in Dunedin
yesterday afternoon.
The 65-year-old Auckland man was in the city to visit friends
and family when he was reported missing following a walk in
the Mornington area yesterday morning.
Acting Senior Sergeant Paul McLaughlan said the man, who had
been missing for two hours, was located several kilometres
away by a police dog handler.
The man was unhurt, he said.
