77 Delta jobs set to go in South

Delta Utility Services announced today another 77 jobs are set to go in the South.

Two weeks ago, the company sacked 40 workers when it closed its construction arm in Christchurch

The move, if confirmed after staff consultation, would mean the end of 41 jobs in Dunedin, 20 in Central Otago and 16 in Southland.

The company said it could only transfer six affected staff to other parts of the company.
