Otago Museum science communicator Amadeo Enriquez-Ballestero (top) wows some bright young minds of the future during a performance at the museum's Discovery World yesterday.

The daily show was part of the museum's school holiday programme, which also featured a Glow Show by science communicator Tegan Pierce (left).

The light show - part of the museum's Freaky Science series - drew a crowd of 150 young children and their parents over two shows yesterday.

The displays, in the Barclay Theatre, aimed to demonstrate scientific concepts in a ''somewhat interactive way'', museum marketing and development co-ordinator Juliet Pierce said.

The Glow Show would be repeated tomorrow and on Sunday, she said.
