Expenses totalling $15,963 included a $1176 dinner for staff while working in Queenstown on May 29; $670 for flights to attend an IT board meeting in Wellington in April; $738 for accommodation in Wellington in April for a national chief executives meeting; $2226 flights/accommodation/meals for a professional development course in Melbourne in February; $963 accommodation and flights for a health and safety campaign group meeting in Wellington in February.
In addition to the expenses total, $1050 had been prepaid for accommodation for a conference in Orlando, Florida, in December last year. On the gifts register, Ms Heatly was given two rugby tickets by Air New Zealand for its corporate box for a match in May, valued at $100.
She received two rugby tickets from Scenic Hotels, also valued at $100, for a Highlanders v Hurricanes match. The hotel chain also gave the chief executive a ''bunch of flowers and beverage'' worth $150, which was ''re-gifted''.
