A record 53% of Southern District Health Board staff received
a flu jab this year, the board said yesterday.

Marion Poore said it was the best way to reduce the risk of
catching the flu.
''The vaccination team have done a fantastic job this year
and with the experience they've gained we're confident of an
even higher uptake next year,'' Dr Poore said.
