Emergency services were called to Maori Hill School in
Dunedin yesterday afternoon, after a 10-year-old pupil
injured her back when she fell off playground equipment.

1.07pm and, because the girl had a suspected back injury, it
took more than an hour to get her from the scene to Dunedin

Principal Alistair Campbell said last night the pupil was
expected to make a full recovery.
Staff had responded well to the incident, Mr Campbell said.
''Everyone followed the procedure that we had set up, which
was very good,'' he said.
