Peter Fleury, of Dunedin, otherwise known as Mortimer Merriweather the opportunistic safari guide, enjoys a cup of tea at a Victorian-themed picnic held by the Les Belles Vilaines dance group at the Otago Museum Reserve on Saturday.
The Victorian picnic had a Steampunk twist, with Mr Fleury and others from the Dunedin and Oamaru Steampunk groups attending.
Mr Fleury said steampunk was essentially Victorian science fiction - or tomorrow as it used to be - which meant it fitted the picnic's theme.
