Residential hall quake work proceeds apace

About 65 contractors a day are working to make sure an earthquake-strengthening project, worth about $3.8 million, at Dunedin residential hall Selwyn College is completed in time for when students return next year.

Arrow International construction manager Aaron Passey, pictured outside the residential hall, said the project - which also included putting in 10 new rooms in the attic space - was on schedule.
