A single vehicle crash on Dunedin's northern motorway
yesterday morning is being investigated by police.
Constable Jonathan Wagstaff, of Dunedin, said a Christchurch
woman in her late 20s was driving the vehicle north on State
Highway 1 when it rolled and ended up on its side in a ditch.

''She was checked, X-rayed and discharged.
''I imagine she'll have a few bruises and be a bit sore but
otherwise she was not injured,'' he said.
A truck driver was first on the scene and assisted the woman
out of the car.
Firefighters also attended the crash.
Const Wagstaff said SH1 was not blocked, and the woman's car
was towed away.
''It's probably a write-off.''
