Thieves' Alley spots taken

Stall registrations for the popular Thieves' Alley Market Day in Dunedin have closed, after the 350 stall positions were snapped up early.

Dunedin City Council community events co-ordinator Marilyn Anderson said the market, centring on Bath St, was ever popular.

Interest from stallholders outnumbered the places available, as it had also done last year.

The market, which spreads around Bath St, the Octagon and surrounding streets and features food, crafts and entertainment, will be held on February 8.
