Dunedin's Northern Motorway has reopened after diversions were in place following a crash this afternoon.
Emergency services were called following reports an elderly female driver may have been trapped in a car after it was involved in the crash with a truck near Waitati around 1.45pm.
The woman did not have any life-threatening injuries and she was taken to Dunedin Hospital by ambulance, Sergeant Matt Scoles said.
NZTA have advised that traffic is returning to normal. The diversion was in place along Waitati Valley Rd.
