When a room full of boisterous pre-schoolers goes silent,
it can only mean one thing; it's snack time.
Flynn Lucas (4) was one of many children at Mosgiel
Playcentre who hoed into fruit, vegetables and crackers last
week to celebrate Playcentre Awareness Week (March 2-8).
The Good, Clean, Fun theme was to raise national awareness of
Playcentre by concentrating community activity over a short
period, and making as much noise as possible.
Mosgiel Playcentre parent Amy Clark said the centre thought
it would be nice to share the celebration, so it invited new
entrants at Elm Grove School across the road to join them in
the healthy morning tea.
