The Archbishop of York, the Most Rev Dr John Sentamu, the
second-highest ranked bishop in the Church of England, will
take part in a public discussion at All Saints Church,
An Archbishop of New Zealand, the Most Rev Philip Richardson,
who is the Bishop of Taranaki and a former warden of Selwyn
College, will also take part in the conversation, which
starts at 4.30pm.

The couple will give keynote addresses at a one-day
symposium, titled ''Poverty, Global and Local'', at the
University of Otago this morning.
Since his arrival in New Zealand, the Archbishop has
highlighted the issue of poverty as a priority for society
and the Church.
He is based at the university until later this month, as the
Harold Turner Visiting Fellow at the centre for theology and
public issues. He will also be made a fellow of St Margaret's
