A motorcyclist sustained moderate to serious injuries in a crash with a car near Outram yesterday evening.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown, of Dunedin, said the crash happened just before 7pm at the intersection of State Highway 87 and Woodside Rd.
The car, travelling along Woodside Rd, and the motorcycle, which was coming from Outram along State Highway 87, collided, Snr Sgt Brown said.
The 24-year-old motorcyclist suffered moderate to serious injuries and was taken to Dunedin Hospital by St John ambulance.
The driver of the car received minor lacerations.
