A couple have been arrested near Mosgiel this morning after
allegedly assaulting and threatening a woman with a knife
then stealing her car last night in Invercargill.
Two members of a defunct Dunedin bowling club have been made
bankrupt after failing to return monies wrongfully taken by
them from the sale of the club's Dunedin premises.
Police have criticised ''drunken idiocy'' after a group of
about 200 youths tried to enter a party in Mosgiel on
Saturday night and then began to ''cause general disorder''
