Members of the AOS were called to Mornington
Several blocks of Mailer St and surrounding streets in Mornington were cordoned off for about 90 minutes, following a call to an address where it was believed there were firearms.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown said the police were stood down about 7.45pm, after the situation was resolved without incident.
