Pupils prepare to play squash in Squash Otago's portable court at Green Island School last week.

Principal Steve Hayward said the court was brought to the school on a trailer last week, and is made from aim by aim sheets of glass with lines on them, which are screwed together.

It has been set up in the school hall, and is used by Squash Otago to introduce school pupils to the game.

''It just looks like a squash court,'' he said.

''The kids love it. It's going down really well. There really keen.''

The court will remain in the school hall until the end of this week, when it will be dismantled and taken to another school.
