A project to update Strath Taieri history book East of the Rock and Pillar has been boosted by a $2000 community grant.
Strath Taieri Community Board chairman Barry Williams said the decision on how to distribute the project fund was made at the board meeting in Middlemarch on Thursday last week.
Another $2000 was given to the Strath Taieri Historical Society, which runs a museum in Middlemarch, for a computer, scanner and printer.
Another $2500 would help fund an all-weather surface for playing tennis and hockey at the Middlemarch Showgrounds.
