For new Dunedin Fringe Festival director Josh Thomas, the
silver screen is about to become the stage.
The Dunedin events manager said he was excited about his new
role, after the appointment was announced last week.
''The Dunedin Fringe Festival has become a celebrated part of
our cultural calendar. It provides an important platform for
extraordinary art and artists and I'm thrilled to come on
board,'' Mr Thomas said.
''I'm looking forward to engaging Dunedin's creative
community and working with them to put together the best
programme possible in 2015.''
He will also manage Pecha Kucha Dunedin and the Amped Music
Project when he takes over the role on August 18.
