An investigation for an access way in East Taieri is to be included in the 2015-16 Mosgiel Taieri Community Board community plan.
Cheryl Pearson asked the board to investigate the creation of an access way on New Zealand Transport Agency land, between the end of Elizabeth Ave and Riccarton Rd.
Councillor Kate Wilson, at a board meeting last week, said her initial inquiries had created more questions than answers, such as, if land was taken for NZTA projects could it be retained for local road purposes?
Board chairman Bill Feather said more information was needed and the board's investigation was continuing.
