More than 110 delegates from the
printing industry across the South Pacific converged on
Dunedin yesterday for the annual Single Width Users Group New
Zealand (Swug) conference.
Swug New Zealand represents the web offset sector of the
printing industry, and chairman Dan Blackbourn said the
two-day conference was close to setting an attendance record.
The theme for this year's conference was Learn, Network and
Guest speaker was nine-time Coast to Coast race winner Steve
Gurney, who gave a motivational talk about ''success as a

A highlight for many delegates was the site visit to the

Mr Blackbourn said the conference gave delegates an
opportunity to hear from manufacturers and suppliers, and to
network with fellow printers and others involved in the
