St Joseph's Cathedral School got right into the swing of Loud Shirt Day yesterday even if it was a day early.

The school's room six ''Young Vinnies'' organised the ''floral and flares'' day as a fundraiser for hearing-impaired children.

The group raised $190 for The Hearing House and southern cochlear implant paediatric programme.
