It is one of 10 vividly-lit sculptures in the ''Night Garden'' display at Glenfalloch as part of Art in the Garden week.
Event organisers said lighting the garden was part of efforts to boost visitor numbers and appeal to a wider range of visitors.
The display can be viewed from 7pm-9pm each day until at least Sunday.
This year's ''Art in the Garden'' event featured more and bigger sculptures than last year.
Sculptor Greg Bloomfield, of the Kapiti Coast, had provided an artwork - a kinetic sculpture - for the first time.
Works by Dunedin sculptor Peter Nicholls included Against Oil Drilling, which depicts a drill.
