The trio were among 15 pupils from around Dunedin who recently participated in the Otago Robocup competition, and were invited to see the multimillion-dollar piece of manufacturing equipment make casings for hot-water cylinders.
The visit was designed to show pupils how their work designing and programming robots was incorporated in the making of the Scott Technology machine.
