Police have released CCTV images of a burglar who has been active in the Mosgiel area.
Five burglaries of Mosgiel premises last Wednesday appear to be linked, police say.
A paint shop and an electrical supply story in Factory Rd were entered and their tills removed.
Between $400-$600 was taken, Another electrical supplier, a church and a social services organisation were also entered and searched, but nothing taken.
''We believe it to be the work of the same offender - an offender who is after cash,'' Sergeant Kevin Davidson, of Mosgiel, said.
Police are looking for a tall male who wore a white top with a black hood, and white track pants with a dark stripe down the leg.
