Dunedin's Santa Parade is all set to roll this afternoon.
Dunedin Santa Parade Trust chairman Mark Laughton has confirmed to the ODT the parade will go ahead this afternoon at 3pm.
The weather in Dunedin, where there had been a few showers this morning, was cloudy, but clearing, he said.
"Just dress warm, the jolly old fella is about to arrive."
The parade route starts at the Regent 24 hour Night and Day Store on George St, at 3pm, and travels salong George St through the Octagon and finishes in Moray Pl by First Church.
