A driver was being spoken to by police late last night after a car hit a skip in Green Island.
The crash happened near the the Green Island landfill on Brighton Rd.
Police, fire and ambulance were at the scene.
Police Sgt Jake Milne said the driver was believed to be intoxicated and neighbours heard loud dragging of metal before they heard a loud crash.
Fire and ambulance were called to the scene about 10:04 pm.
