Skipping school

Mornington School pupils (from left) Winton Ward (11), Valentine Munro (10) and Myra Matthews (10) could hardly contain their excitement yesterday as they joined the 30,031 other pupils in Otago who are now on their Christmas holidays.

Pupils will have about six weeks off school, and are expected to return between January 26 and February 5.
