The former Woodhaugh hotel in Leith Valley, Dunedin, is being repaired and renovated following a major fire in the building last April.

Repair contractor Arthur Stone, of Arthur Stone Builders, said particular attention had been given to replacing the facade of the historic building, as well as making repairs to the interior.

Work was expected to be completed in mid to late February. He believed the building would again be used as student accommodation.
