LA 'frockstar' to judge at iD show

iD Fashion Week has announced fashion history aficionado and star of documentary series L. A. Frockstars, Doris Raymond, is attending this year's Dunedin show.

Ms Raymond owns Los Angeles store The Way We Wore and has worked with high fashion designers including Michael Kors, John Galliano, Tamara Mellon and Tom Ford.

Aspects of her collection have shown up on runways from New York to Milan.

She will be a judge for the iD International Emerging Designer Awards.

iD Dunedin Fashion Week committee chairwoman Susie Staley said having Ms Raymond was ''a coup''.

''She is a wealth of information on all things fashion history, and her vast collections have inspired many high profile designers.''
