The 2014 Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival has been recognised as the best beer event in Otago and Southland by the Society of Beer Advocates.
The organiser, the Otago University Students Association, was presented with the award on Wednesday.
OUSA events manager Dan Hendra said the recognition was ''very much appreciated. A great deal of hard work from our team over the last two and a-half years made this dream a reality.''
The festival will be held again this year on November 7 at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
