Denise Potter (53) went missing from her daughter's Dunedin address, Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said yesterday.
A police spokesman this morning said there had been no word of Ms Potter overnight.
She was reported missing by her daughter, who is very concerned about Ms Potter's whereabouts.
She was last seen in Carroll St, in central Dunedin, although she might be trying to return to Alexandra, Snr Sgt Benn said.
