Emergency services at the scene of a crash on State Highway 88, near Burkes Dr, yesterday morning.
A 35-year-old male scooter rider was taken to Dunedin Hospital by St John with minor injuries after a collision with a four-wheel-drive vehicle about 8.45am, Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said. Inquiries were ongoing.
A motorcycle rider was also injured when he lost control of his machine on a slight bend in Aramoana Rd about 5.15pm yesterday and went through a farm fence.
The man, who injured his knee and elbow, was taken to Dunedin Hospital by helicopter, Snr Sgt Benn said.
