St Francis Xavier School pupils huddle around the Fifa U-20 World Cup mascot, Wooliam, at the school yesterday.

The Mornington, Dunedin, school won a Fifa ''Football in Schools'' competition and two of its pupils will now be selected by the school to be captains' escorts for matches in Dunedin during the Fifa U-20 World Cup, which runs in New Zealand from May 30 to June 20.

Six group matches and a second-round match will be played at Otago Stadium in Dunedin between May 31 and June 10.
