A crane has been brought in to help move a truck after an accident in Dunedin this afternoon.
A crane has been brought in to move a truck and trailer unit that overturned beside the Dunedin Botanic Garden this afternoon.
Traffic was backed up on the Northern Motorway into Dunedin after the accident, and a diversion remains in place at the corner of Great King St and North Rd.
The articulated lorry came to rest on its side after hurtling down the hill from Pine Hill.
The truck driver escaped without injury and no other vehicles were involved.
