A section of Mosgiel's main street will be closed today as police continue to investigate the crash which killed octogenarian Rex Sheldon (88).
Sergeant Kevin Davidson said the intersection of Factory, Gordon and Bush Rds would be coned off between 10am and 11am.
Traffic would still be allowed through, but delays could be expected and motorists were asked to avoid the intersection, he said.
A light truck collided with Mr Sheldon's mobility scooter at the intersection on Friday.
He was seriously injured and taken to Dunedin Hospital, where he died on Saturday.
